I bought my Lumia 925 on Jan 18, 2014 in India. Initially for few days it was good. I like the handsets slim, look and camera was very good. After few days, heating problem and battery draining problem started - I dont play games at all. I use only 2G network - I use camera occasionally - When I browse or use watsapp application even for 20 mins, it starts heating its not warm it is heating. I went to customer care - when I showed the customer care the heating pbm which occurred in 15 mins of use - they showed their old Lumia phone after playing games and told even if it gets heated up to this extent nothing will happen to you. Nokia Customer care here says its a product design and does not hear us at all. I tried multiple times to talk to them; but no use. They made me buy a cover which will help me not to feel the heat.

I am facing battery problem - normally 9% battery down in 20 mins; sometimes 45% down in 45 mins. Heating problem/battery draining problem happens when I use camera/internet related services(like whatsapp, browsing) for 20+ mins. My software is updated.

Applications used: I am regularly using is whatsapp and battery application. I was using camera initially and now due to heating and battery problems - I'm using it very very rarely. Basically I am using 925 as a Nokia 1101 model - just phone calls and whatsapp.

Games: I hve played 2048 just few times. I have not played the default Angry birds games not even once. I dont play any other games. Even before 2048 installation, I had this battery and heating problem.

Network: Is not bad. It is one of the top players in India. Also I have used mobile in different circles and I faced the battery draining issue in all the the circles and hence my assumption is - it is not related to network

I have checked the trouble shooting page for battery - cautiously I do thid check- in fact I am switching ON my  data plan only when required. same for Wifi, locations. I not using(never used) Bluetooth, NFC, heavy games, Xbox related stuff, Mails etc Latest OS and All the apps are updated. Tried QR code options and found all are updated.

I have tried all the steps informed by Nokia Forums – but nothing; no one reverted;

Incidence1: I had around 15-20% battery. My wifi was ON and I have connected for charging. After 15-20 mins; when I checked mobile phone was switched Off - reason: Battery drained. I am not able to figure out the logic of battery draining so fast - such that rate of battery draining is faster than battery charging.

Incidence2: When I went to bed yesterday, changed to airplane mode with 97% battery. After 6-6.5 hrs, when I got up battery is 65% - which means do nothing still the battery goes down this fast- and even in airplane mode battery does not last 18 hours. Is this normal for Lumia 925? Is this the standard specification for Lumia 925?

Incidence3: My battery has gone down from 100% to 20% in around 3hrs 30 mins when I was not using the phone - I had gone out without taking my phone and when I returned I noticed this. I have captured the snapshot/logs for this incidence.

I have used Nokia for all these years - with models like N73, N95, E71, E72 etc. Now it seems time to stop thinking(forget about buying) of Nokia/Lumia products. It is shame that Nokia is not ready to sovle the problem of such flagship models.

Thanks
