I bought my 1st Windows phone in 2013 hoping to be class apart as per what Nokia claimed.
My New Lumia 620 was in my hands and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. Be its seamless connectivity.Tiles on the front screen, its awesome camera which took great pictures in Daylight.Its music systems clarity was great with or without Earphones.
The Skype experience with its frontal camera was average although it served my Purpose.
The gallery access was also seamless be it pics or videos. The Nokia Music gave me amazing collection of free music then(which was stopped after 1 year) .I did try to renew the same but failed every time. Whatsapp and other apps functioned smoothly, although Whatsapp was upgraded for Windows phones after many persistent requests.
The major let down for this phone is its lack of FM Radio. Radio is a must in a City like Mumbai and the lack of it is a letdown. In the age of fast connectivity less than 1 GB ram is also a no no.
The internal memory is not quite useful considering the humungous Apps Size.External Memory slot comes as a blessing.
The inbuilt apps coming with the phone is Apt and does serve its purpose. Frequent update is not an issue when the phone is connected to the Internet via WIFI. 2G speeds also looks decent enough.
The phone hangs frequently and I had to service my phone to update software on one instance.
The browsing experience is good if we have a WIFI. The Maps feature has been a blessing many a times on lost roads.
Off-late my phone has gone dead with a soul. The Phone's display works but the touch doesn't . It has becoming a Living Dead phone.
I wonder what needs to be done. So if you are still interested to get this phone( I trust we get it below Rs.9K today in Snapdeal.com) you can expect great performance for 2 years and then forget about it.
