Let me be frank with the over all working and features of this phone is okay, But very few people know this E71 not only 71 all E series is having range issue with Airtel, If we starts travelling and if the signal range is un even ie if we loose the range completely E71 will not pick the range or signal of airtel automatically once we are back into range area. We need to turn it off and on again to get into range.
Am not sure how many of you noticed, however when I took it to the service centre they updated the software and returned how ever the problem still continues, As my phone was under warranty they tried everything, and unofficially they admitted that there is a technical problem and stopped blaming Airtel.
I tried different company sims, this problem is with airtel and nokia E series, The nokia company just returned me the set saying it cant be fixed by their good office, Great! So am also leaving the loyalty to nokia here, let me move on to some other brands. Dear guys just remember try using different brands there is no charm being loyal to Nokia.sooner or later u will run into trouble for their inefficiency.
