Writing this review as I have been using the Nokia-E63 for a while. Finally decided to purchase the smart phone after several positive and encouraging testimonials from friends and colleagues. A brief description including the pros and cons of the E-63 is listed below.
Pros
The ultimate and most affordable E-Series Smart Phone(3G)
Sleek Design and light weight
Great GPRS Speed / You tube video streaming is meticulous
Advanced settings as compared to the N-Series- User Friendly- Fine Audio Quality
Torchlight Function
SMS Voice Reader/ Voice Aid function
FM & Visual Radio- Battery Longevity
Office Tools including - MS Office, Adobe, Flash Player / Twitter, Facebook & You tube Interface
Cons
Hangs sometimes
No GPS(You can install Google maps)
Getting used to the keypad takes a bit
Not Gamer Friendly as a result of the Qwerty Keypad
Inferior Camera Quality(2 Megapixel)
My views
Overall would rate the E-63 as true value for money. Although it does lack resale value you can rest assured that you wouldn't have to let go of it for ages as it just serves the right purpose. The affordability factor for sure does not compromise on the quality, specifications, durability or design of the phone. For me the phone was certainly love at first sight. The E-63 if compared to the more advanced E-Series smart-phones including E-71 & E-72 is not very different except for a couple of additional functions. I would recommend the E-63 to networking site buffs as well as professionals on the run and need access to important emails at the drop of a hat.
