Okay, right to the chase: The E62 is a power-packed BUSINESS-level phone, which is not really meant for'style' gurus. Yes, you can get your own kick out of people staring at a QWERTY keypad when you whip the thing out to send an SMS, but it's not the same level of drool an iPhone, say, gets.

I bought this phone because I wanted something with a QWERTY keypad, without a camera, and this fit the bill. However, I bought it off the streets of Jamshedpur and hence it has a few problems. Lesson learnt, always buy phones from proper places.

It's got everything a business user would want on the move. Ability to read Word Docs, make Powerpoints, and use Excel sheets! Emailing is a breeze, the quick email button makes things very easy. Construction is nice and sturdy. I haven't had a scratch on it, and it's been a good half a year since I bought it. Given the way I handle my phones, that's saying something for the E62.

There are no pre-loaded games, this is a serious phone, folks! Using the keypad is a breeze. If you're an emailing and SMS nut, you'll love this phone, though it takes about a week of proper use to getting used to the keypad. But after this, you won't want to go back to the dinky 12-key layout again! Watching videos on this is a charm, and it's got a brilliant 320*240 screen that will make your pictures look stunning. Take your photo collection, reduce the size, and transfer them to your phone. Believe me, it's worth it.

Browsing the internet on this beaut is also a damn good experience. Whether you're a fan of the built- in browser will be left to you, but I don't like it much and prefer the Opera Mini, which runs just fine.

The most irritating feature is the useless voice recording button which is quite prone to being switched on, and the limit for recording is only one minute anyway!

Overall, it's a brilliant phone for the price, people think you've got a Blackberry and you'll blow them away with the novelty factor(hey, not too many people have QWERTY phones!). It's slightly slow, though. But then, that should be because I bought a grey market one.

Is it the best business phone around? Probably not. That honour would go to the Nokia E71, which is currently hovering at around 18000 bucks. But the E62 is definitely the one that offers most value. I used the E50 before this, and my next phone will be the E71.
