NOKIA BRIGHT POINT GIVES HORRIBLE SERVICE

I have taken my Nokia E-62 for checkup as the scroll button was functioning erratically. It would work sometimes and sometimes it would not respond and sometimes it would not stop when I scroll upwards.


All the other functions were working fine. So were all the other buttons. When I submitted my Nokia handset after waiting for twenty five minutes. This is a very long wait for anyone for that matter. After I submitted my handset I had to wait for for 15 minutes for the diagnosis. The diagnosis was that fungus had accumulated on the joystick.  And I was told that the warranty is void because its a case of water logging. How can you just take a call and void the warranty. When your entire handset is  clean of any fungus you cant label this as water logging.


NOKIA cant dismiss such cases as water logging or water damaged or moisture. India and especially cities like Mumbai are tropical. The handset which now come from China dont have the tropicalisation built into them.Just because there are thousands of cases. You cant play on the ignorance of people. I was told to pay a pre approved amout. Why should anyone pay a pre approved amout when the handset is not opened and is within warranty. Who is the deciding factor.


Till the handset is closed its under warranty . And Nokia opens the handset. Secondly fungus is not a case of watter logging as I was told. My jobsheet MUM0247676 says that keys dont work as symptom 5201- and additional fault information says Joystick not functioning. As pointed my other keys are working.


Please dont take people for granted NOKIA. And I hate the service levels at BRIGHTPOINT where people are treated like machines. WHERE IS THE "CONNECTING PEOPLE " mission. NOKIA please dismiss Bright point if they are not able to handle customer or start your own division. I will not take this nonsense. The entire handset is clean and not a single spect found so its not water logged. Hope you get it.
