Real Value for Money. Review on Nokia E51

I had purchase this set some 7 months ago ( Costed me Rs11600 ) as a package I also got leather pouch complementary along with standard accessories. The Product is so cool & easy to use . I change my mobile phone quite offten but range of phone I use is usually around 10K~15K

Befire using this I had used Nokia E50, N72, 7610, 3230, MOTO L7 & Nokia 6610.Most of the time I used symbian phones only. I must say this is the best phone I had used ever .I will tell you something about all the parameters ( Possibly )

1) Sound quality /Reception - Brilliant , voice over phone is crystal clear.

2) Looks - Young, trendy, quite & handy

3)Power back up - Quite handsome with talk time upto 4 hrs max ( telling as per my use )

Now coming to technical features

1) Processor - New ARM 11 369 MHz processor is the best on phone ( Common for high end mob like E71, 66 & even e90. 96 MB SDRAM memory that means good heap size & processing speed ( E71 has 128 mb SDRAM )

2) OS - Operating Sys is Symbian OS 9.2, Series 60 v3.1 UI FP 2 ( better than e59 & n70 FP1 )

3) Connectivity options - 3g ( Soon cming 2 india ), WIFI , USB data cable , WAP & HTTP browser

For browsing internet u can download any of the software like Opera Mini 4.2, UCWEb6, Skyfire

But E51 & E 71 does not suppourt Opera 8.65 ( Because OPera does not provide suppourt for FP2 )

4) Multimedia feature - Sound quality is Ok but not comparable with N series phones as this one is business class phone.Camera is standard 2 MP (not so good & without flash). This phone supports YOUTUBE also

5) Emails - Good & easy setup required , even a new bee can also customise the setting . Easily suppourt all the format of mail like POP3, IMPA, HOTMAIL, REDIFF, YAHOO PLUS, SEVEN11, GMAIL

for MS Out look - Best one is Mail of exchange . You can synchronise ur contacts , calendars & mail through standard exchange server.

6) Dedicated keys for contacts, home contact mail

7) Best feature is voip feature – That means Voice over internet protocol, this is nice feature as you can call ISD calls through WIFI connection one time subscription fee of 4$ has to be paid

Some points which are –ve points are as follows

1) Some times it gets crashed when connecting to internet through GPRS solution is get the latest firmware of 200.34.37 through net.

2) No antivirus – There is no real time antivirus subscription ( Complimentary) with e51 u have to download & get the subscription for more than 20$ ( Actually all the antivirus are of not much use the best thing if you get virus is to format the phone & memory card . This is very easy & can be done at home also.

4) Quick office 3.8 non editable version – Being a business class phone the non editable version of Quick office has been provided. Though you can download loads of pirated version but I do not encourage this .

Just like other phones this phone also gets little bit heated up after using for long time

Over all this is the best value for money business phone .

Coming to one point is that Nokia Care is the Worst service provider in whole service industry , Nokia must improve service if wishes to retain No1 position.
