I upgraded from 5800 XM to C6-01. The features of C6 give new feel every time. The customizable 3 mode home screen is a fantastic feature. Integrated mail and social networking are fantastic, though it will keep the Internet Connection ON all through the day which consumes data as well as battery; in that case sync settings will have to be set manually. Video capture quality is great, still pictures are beautiful, though lack of autofocus is a botheration and wonder for not being included in it. Video playback quality is ok, video streaming is faster also and sometimes fabulous. Web browsing is impressive compared to 5800, though tab browsing feature is not introduced in its old browser; for that, Opera is the last choice. Youtube video streaming is a bit faster, but not that great(though it depends on the server in most situation). Adobe Flash Lite 4 covers many flash supported video, but not all. Wish it was upgraded to Flash 10.1 instead of lite version. Bluetooth V.3 is fantastic and faster. USB connectivity and Bluetooth sync with Ovi Suite is stable and always responsive. The touch screen sensitivity is too faster often leads to irritation due to small screen. On-screen Qwerty keyboard is hampered due to fickle touch screen sensitivity and small screen, though this will be habituated in course of time. Wish it had a dedicated Qwerty keypad instead. Installation of application is quite faster. Music player is lovey and quite improved, though no customizable equalizer which is a great miss. I use it with my Sony Ericsson bluetooth headseat and just fabulous! I repeat just fabulous!
Those who want to upgrade from Nokia XM series or so, as in my case, C6-01 is a good choice, not the best. C6-01 is a phone with everything you need within the low budget. So many applications available in Ovi store, games are in HD quality. The super Amoled screen is a great feature to use and love with. Photo editing application is quite nice with lots of feature in it. Also Nokia beta lab supplies lots of free application that can be found in Android sets and high end sets.
Recent news, Nokia is updating the web browser of C6-01 from 7.2 to 7.3 with lots of feature and better performance. It will be introduced in August through firmware update.
The only drawback of the phone I observed is the battery life, if you use net most of the time of a day, it needs to be charged everyday. But that can be sacrificed for such a lovely set.
