I bought this phone 4 months back and instantly fell in love with it. The phone is extremely similar in looks and functionality with Nokia E5.

The only differences are as follows-

  1. E5 has a QUERTY keypad, while C5 has a Classic Keypad.

  2. E5 has WiFi.

  3. C5 has Front Camera.

Apart from the above 3 differences, the BIG difference in these two is their Price.

E5 costs around Rs. 9000, whereas C5 costs around Rs 7000.

Hence, if you don't chat all day long, C5 is highly recommended for you, since the lack of WiFi is set off with 3G service availability.

The phone has a sleek candybar look, which definitely wins over E5. The Camera quality is excellent, and it offers various shooting modes. There is also the newly introduced Panaroma Mode function, which is an easy process to capture wide angle images that don't fit into a single shot.

The phone has Series 60-3rd generation operating system, which supports a number of applications, not to mention the ones that already come pre-loaded, including Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc. The Internal Memory is around 256 MB, which is sufficient for all the processing needs you will require on the cell.

The phone supports SD cards with 16 GB capacity, which is good enough for most of us. The Display quality is also wonderful, with crystal clear images a norm rather than an exception. The phone also supports Watsapp, but the shortcoming is its Classic Keypad which hinders the typing speed. However, with continued usage, my speed has improved considerably.

The sound quality is pretty good too, with the standard music player which is generally found in many other Nokia phones.

The phone comes with quick search option for Contacts, you just type the name of the contact on the home screen to begin the search.

The Best part of the package is the OVI Maps in the phone. They can be downloaded for countries via PC suite, and if you want only a particular area you can zoom to that area. The maps once downloaded( or zoomed into) can be used for offline search, thus restricting the data usage charges. They also provide directions- both for walking and driving, which are sufficiently detailed.

Overall it is a world of features packed in the sleek and stylish looking phone, with just about every thing that you will ever require, at an amazing price.

Highly Recommended!
