I purchased this phone and was disappointed in it from day one. It won't connect to the internet, and it was advertised that I wouldn't have to pay for a data plan and could use my home router for updates, web and email.
Well, it won't connect to my router and there is no way I can connect to the net for updates unless I buy into a data plan from my cell carrier.
I contacted Nokia and they are basically giving me the run around and emailed me that they are working on the problems of this Nokia C5 04 model. I want them to send me a C5-03 with the wifi built in and then send them this piece of crap back to them.
They are not working on the problems of this phone. If they were it would have been done mths after the release of it. I will never again buy another Nokia phone. After the run around and the poor customer service by Nokia, Nokia can go to hell. As for that 1 year warranty they offer you with the purchase of this phone.
I hate to break it to you, but it doesn't exist. After I informed Nokia about the problems, they are not interested in taking the phone back and offering the consumer a decent phone with wifi in them. Even the camera that is suppose to be a 5.0 mp, it's a 2.0 mp, just another sign not to buy or trust the Nokia company.
Do not buy this phone. Yuo will be throwing your money out the window as I did when I was suckered into buying it.
