Airtel and Nokia C3 are cheating their customers.

On seeing the ADS in TV given by AIRTEL AND NOKIA,


I have purchased a NOKIA C3 on 9-10-2010, along with the mobile, there is a offer which is mentioned on the sticker as below:


"Enjoy Internet on your new Nokia C3.


Get 2GB per month for 6 months.


Automatic Activation after inserting SIM.


Offer activation will take maximum of 24 hrs for prepaid and 48 hrs for postpaid customtakeouters.


Offer valid for Airtel users on C3 stocks bought till 28th February 2011."


I have purchased the mobile from PRAMUKHSAGAR MOBILE OPTIONS, Malakpet, Hyderabad with the following bill details Bill No. 1172, TIN No. 28692540763, dated 09/10/2010.


The distributor inserted my sim with Mobile No. 8008936535, and checked the settings, and said you will receive the offer within 24 hrs.


I did not receive the offer after inserting sim. I contacted the dealer after a week, the service personnel was not available.


After 2 days I again visited the dealer again, and he asked me to visit Nokia Care. I visited Nokia Care immediately, as it was nearby, and they replied that they cannot help, as they are not responsible. They even replied contact Nokia customtakeouter Care Helpline.


I had contacted Nokia customtakeouter care, then but the call was frequently disconnected as if they donot wish to receive it.


I have even sent a complaint to NOKIA through my email id on 22-October 2010, but there is no response.


On 23-October, 2010, I have called customtakeouter care of AIRTEL, and the usual call centre people interrogation started to torture the innocent clients.


After few calls and difficult conversation, I reached the supervisor at AIRTEL Call Centre (121), and luckily he was aware of the offer, and logged a complaint and replied that you will get the offer, and the issue will be resolved by 26-October-2010.


On 26-October-2010, I called up the 121 famous AIRTEL No, to know the status, and this time also a supervisor was available, as usual, and said you have to get the offer, and will surely get it, wait for this day.


On 27-October-2010, I called up 121 again to know the status, for my surprise the complaint was closed, without giving proper info, and the supervisor was again polite enough to state that "You are eligible for the offer, for this no 8008936535, I am again logging a complaint, and it will be resolved by 29/10/2010 @ 1pm".


On 27/10/2010 a new complaint started and the old one became a mystery and history.


On 27/10/2010 I visited AIRTEL customtakeouter Care personally, and waited 2 hrs for my no 488, and spoke to Kavitha.


They dont have any info on this, but realized that customtakeouters of AIRTEL + NOKIA C3 facing these issues.


She noted my no and replied that she will call back on 28/10/2010 to tell the status, which did not happen.


On 28/10/2010 I enquired about it, the interrogation by 121 people started like harassing customtakeouters.


They were least bothered now. With difficulty supervisors started behaving differently stating we dont have any info and there is no such offer. You are not eligible.


The ADS are clearly given by AIRTEL + NOKIA to sell NOKIA C3.


The stickers are pasted on each NOKIA C3 Box, which is available in every NOKIA dealer and distributor.


customtakeouters are becoming a fool and prey for their misleading ads and false commitments.


AIRTEL and NOKIA are clearly cheating the customtakeouters and misbehaving with them.


They are making a customtakeouter run from pillar to post.


Its really shameful for airtel they dont respond, despite my trials to reach them, after escalations.


Its unfair and cheating.
