I am currently using Nokia E 63( My wife refuses to trade her HTC wildfire for my E63:)), this phone was a impulsive purchase, to be used a second phone with an additional sim I some time carry. although this budget phone has a good list of features it is still no substitute for a business phone or a multimedia phone.  Please find details of its various attributes below

Battery - The phone comes with BL-5C which is rated with 1050 mAh, the battery backup is very good, it will easily last 3-4 days with reasonable use

Screen  -The phone comes with a small 1.8" screen with 65k colours, the screen resolution is average where you can make out the pixels .

Build Quality - The build quality of the phone seems to be good and with reasonable care the phone should last a long time.

Single SIM - Nokia is awful with is product naming, I thought C series represented Nokia dual sim phones . however Nokia C1 02 is a single sim phone.

Software- The phone features Symbian Series 40, the software is basic and does not support multi tasking except for playing FM or Music in the background.

Processor - I don't know the exact technical details about the processor, but the processor is slow and sometime could test your patience

Email- I was skeptical that email, though mentioned as one of the features in the phone will actually work, however it does.  it does not support Nokia email messaging( Push email). there is an app similar to Gmail official java app which allow to connect you to one email id at a time, although you can add a few ids. I was able to connect to my Gmail/Yahoo id. the app does not support graphics and you can read only the text in the mail,

the phone will be handy to read mail but  writing email on the phone is very difficult and the slow processor has an impact on the email experience .

Internet/ Browser- The default browser of the phone is not good( Nokia higher end phones also do not have good browsers) however hidden in the extras in application folder is opera mini browser which is significantly better. I was generally able to load most of the sites on the opera, however the speed is slow and the phone's small screen coupled with low resolution means it will be quite painful to browse for extended periods

Connectivity- although the phones specification state GPRS, the phone shows an E, which stands for EDGE while browsing, and also when I connected my laptop to internet the speed it shows is 115.2 Kbps which is more in line with EDGE . you can use the phone as a external modem with 2.5 G speeds

The phone also has Bluetooth, I used Bluetooth to send/ receive files . I have not tested Bluetooth handsfree but I am sure it will work

Music/ Multimedia - the phone supports MIcro sd cards upto 32 GB, I used the phone with a 2GB card and it works fine. although the phones support higher capacity I will advise to limit to 4/8 GB or the phone may become slow.

The phones default music player is very basic, the music output is reasonable but not great. I had a few videos on the SD Card but was not able to play them, probably the format were not supported by the phone. the phone also has a FM which uses the wired headset as the antenna

C1 02 does not feature a camera

Accesories -other than battery, charger and the handset, the phone comes with a stereo wire headset, this headset is the same I recevied with my E-63 and generally found  to be good.

apart from the above you would need to buy your own micro sd card and a bluetooth dongle or a USB to Micro USB cable to transfer music from computer. the USB to micro USB cable is common and you should be able to buy it in the market for around 100 Rs.

I purchased the phone for Rs 2150/- at that price, I think the phone is a very good buy, till the time you are able to appreciate the limitations of the phone, you will be satisfied. the phone is clearly not a business phone/ipod/high end multimedia phone replacement.
