I bought this mobile about one month ago. This a very small mobile, just 9cm in length and 3.5cm in breadth. Its very light and I did not feel any weight when I put this in my Shirt Pocket. And nobody even notice that I have a mobile at all. It’s very good in looks and has lots of features.
Some Positive Aspect:
1)The Best Looking Mobile I have seen till now at least.
2)Very light in weight.
3)LCD back light is White in color which is very readable.
4)Battery stand by time around 12 days (after three full charge and discharge cycle)
5)With ACP-8E charger this mobile gets charged from 0% to 100% within One and Half hours.
6)Good reception even in ground floor room. I have noticed that many mobiles do not get reception signal in ground floor or some closed room. But with 8310 I get full signal strength (as shown by the bar at the left of the LCD) even in my ground floor room with fully closed windows. And I can easily receive and make call from my closed bedroom also.
7)FM reception in Mumbai is good but in suburbs I could not get any FM signals.
8)Has GPRS Technology.
Negative Aspect:
1)Its so small that in noisy places like railways stations I found that the surrounding sound is more audible to person on the other end of the phone than your own voice. The only way to solve this is through Hands Free Kit.
2)Its so small that no one will ever notice that you have mobile in your pocket or in your hands. So if you are those who wants to show off your pretty mobile then you have to shout that you have 8310.
3)Its so small that you have learn how to hold it without touching the antenna (at the back)or its buttons(in the front). And also its not easy to type in SMS.
The features I would have wanted in this phone to justify the cost:
1)Bigger LCD screen
2)Crispier font like on your PC
