Out here I would not be discussing the features that you can read everywhere, I would be sharing my experience with the phone which I have been using for the last 15 days.
Before buying the phone I had read many average review by lots of sites and I was a bit discouraged by the fact that none of them had given this phone very high ratings(in fact it was very average ratings).
But I had made up my mind that I would be buying it and hence went for it and let me assure all of you who have any interest(and money) that this is certainly a good buy. Ofcourse the size is quite big and those who like sleek phones, its not for them. But those who does not mind the size that much and are all for style statement would like all the features that this phone has to offer.
Battery backup is good considering the size of display, at 50% brightness it can easily go for 2 1/2 days with around 1 hour of talktime, 4-5 hours of music and 1-2 hours of general fiddeling around with the phone.
The picture quality is good but it does not have much options other than basic, normal and high. Video quality is poor and do not even think about using this phone as a camcorder.
Music player does its job and so does Notes, Word, Excel , mind you that its not a buisness phone and just a fit in phone. But alarm features needs a special recommendation. You can set it to once only, next 24 hours, daily, weekly, on working days(these features come in handy atleast to me).
Sound reception is very good but for some reason on my set its too low even at maximum volume.(it might be a problem with only my set because I have read reviews where sound is said to be its strongest part) although speaker phone is good and is quite loud.
Also bear in mind that there are not many devices running on symbian 90 series platform and there are none which are coming soon, so there may not be many third party software available for this phone.
In summary I would like to say that if you would like to be a pioneer and like the wow factor then you can forget about the minor glitches that the phone has.(these glitches never came to affect the fun I am having using this phone)
