Windows phone never made headline since it was launched. I purchased Lumia 710 for RS 14, 500 just because of the brand name and I wanted to try something different from Android.
I was amazed by the screen(3.7') sharpness and quality because this phone comes handy with a feature called Nokia Clear Black Display. Even in bright sunlight the screen is clearly visible. The performance is good(Snapdragon 1.4Ghz, 512 MB RAM). The Live tiles provided by Microsoft was something different from android.
The body of this phone has a rigid and tough structure and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass.
But the disadvantages of this phone are many.
1- The Windows Store doesn't have apps which android has. The basic apps like Paytm, Google Chrome etc are not available. Also the games like angry bird etc, which android offer for free is a paid version in Windows.
2- The storage capacity is limited to just 8 GB with no option for external card. Of this only 5.5 GB is available to the user.
3- Other phones in this range comes handy with front facing camera which is not available in Lumia.
4- This phone doesn't offer pure multitasking like android. Switching to other app doesn't pause the app.
