My all time favorite phone.. Review on Nokia 6610

Hello friends!,

Now its 6610 time!!

I have written a review on Motorola c200 in a very positive manner, n there I have stated my views as how boring or no technical n unwise to have a mobile phone with camera, and I still support my wordz?

In Dec2004, finally I decided to change my mobile.. finally..

As usual I did a enormous study of current phones available, my needs and actual utilization of the piece of technology I will be buying,

Mine basic needs were as per trend 1] polyphonic, 2] color display , 3] light weight,4] something extra then these usual features. 5] enough small to fit comfortably in a jeans pocket and enough big to press keys while smsing at the speed of atleast 5keys/sec.!

With tremendous confusion and confusion I opted for nokia 6610 for Rs. 7650/-

Just in 2 days I got used to it to its features n functionality.

I have laptop with IrdA. So connectivity to PC was not a problem.

Now I m so addicted to it, that I even type sms thru my PC, have taken backup of all sms,phonebook,reminders etc.

It has got real cool resolution, enough loud n nice polyphonic rings [ the only problem is it has got only 4 channel midi support, kinda outdated now a days]

It can store smsz upto 160, plenty of pictures etc etc? all usual features u must be knowing

It has got such a close to human nature handling that I bet one cant think of opting a new equivalent mobile in exchange with this one.

Radio is clear, good headset, sad part is u have to stick to it only because of odd connector, but that?s not much pain.. these headsets are real cool, one day I forgot my headset in my shirt pocket, they got washed in my washing machin!!!!! N they are working perfect!!!! Can u beat it!!

Battery is enough long lasting that u can go for charge n forget kinda attitude. takes 1hr 10-20 mins for full charge..

Better reception than Motorola or Sony erricson.

So finaly my verdict is a good professional phone, no junk things, no funky garbage, so, it?s a best for them who r real user of mobile as a phone n not camera n all the stuff, go n buy a good camera to shoot pictures, n spare mobile for communication?

It?s a fairly featured n proven n close to human technology phone..

This phone is so perfect for me that I guess I don?t need to change my mobile for next at least 2-3 years, that will be also just for change or if something real innovative n useful happens in mobile technology.
