1. Camera , Video Rec :

A blessing for the cam peoples with its 3.2mp cam AF its gr8 to have one..

for still images the maximum resoultion is 1536x2048

the phone has internal image processing and colour enhancement engine (s40 generic java based embedded engine) works like a charm

hold down the middle button to autofocus and you can also get the text from any magazine , newspapers very crisp and clear..ratings 10/10

for video its recoding in 3gp with the maximum res of 640x480 @15fps

great for outdoor shooting...ratings 4/5

2.BatteryLife.

its 1050mAh battery gives the phone 2 weeks standby time (as in users manual) practically it has around 5 days ( depends on the themes, screensavers etc)

talktime around 7 hours non stop use..!! whacky..lol

3.Sound Clarity

This phone has option for Enhanced Voice Clarity Feature great in noisy enviornments crystal clear sound output.

A low output in loudspeaker compared to previous 6300..but its simply awesome..

4.Audio and Video supports are massive as stated on its specs sheets jus go to nokia web site to have a glance ....it supports wmv, mp3, aac, aac+, midi, ...etc and video 3gp, mp4, wmv...other support might be of rmvb or rm formats(not yet tried those)

5) extra features:

Light Options.

(Brightness of the screen is automatically set according to the ambient light surroundings it has a light sensor on top of the screen...)

video ringtones,

20mB of internal mem and upto 4Gb Expandable hot swap mem.

The bluetooth rcvd files are by default transfered into the phone memory but as soon the phone memory is filled up ( if for eg. a file is greater than 20mb in size is transfered) it is stored in the memory card automatically.

Express Music support with its 3.5mm output jack any headphones or direct speakers can be connected to it..

s40 6th edition is made so much like s60 version jus lagging in sis file supports but in a nutshell if u are not opting for PDAs or touchscreen phone and if u also are not hungry for the s60 sis files then I suggest to go for this one with FULL JAVA enhanced support...

even the web browsin is impoved on this model.

still there are lots of new s40 operating system features on this phone just go and try at a nearest retailer outlet..

in a nutshell if u arent a geek and if u dont know about windows mobile , symbian s60, LINUX then buy this phone it would be great for you...even its vivid colurs have eye pleasing effect...;)
