I recently upgraded to Nokia 6275. It is a good phone with excellent features. I guess this is one of the best phones available in the Indian CDMA market at the moment. It has a nice sleek design and form factor. Though similar to GSM 6300, this one has a better laid out keypad. The screen of this phone is brilliant! 6275 has all the ususal features found on a mid-high range mobile these days... camera, radio, blutooth, MP3 player, support for various audio formats, MP3 ringtone setting, voice recorder, 500 no. phone book, MMS support etc.

The 2 MP pixel camera with flash is decent. It gives excellent results in good light, moderate result indoors and poor result in very low light. The flash is good enough for clicking a face in low light situation. The video recording is decent. It also has a night mode setting. Overall it is a decent mobile phone camera giving printable photos, especially in good light.

The phone can be connected to the PC via cable, infra red or bluetooth. For cable, it needs a CA-53 USB cable. It can be connected either as a mass storage device (in this mode it reads only the memory card like a removable drive) or through Nokia PC Suite (in this mode you can access the various sections of the phone and use PC Suite to synchronise, transfer copy, backup contacts, messages, pics, sounds, videos etc.) The batterly life of the phone is good but goes down pretty fast on using bluetooth. Also if the phone is used for long videos, the battery drains. For average mixed use, the battery life is good, not excellent.

The radio reception is good and the sound quality is decent. The phone speaker sound is good for phone use but not too good for playing music etc. especially if you are looking for something like the Sony Ericsson Walkman series sound. It is a mono speaker, not stereo. Headset sound quality is decent. However, buying a Nokia HS-23 headset will result in significant sound quality improvement.

I found the sound level on this phone to be a bit on the low side. Even on max volume, hearing the caller becomes difficult in noisy situations. For indoor, quiet or moderate noise situations the volume is adequate.

The phone comes with a 256 MB Micro SD card but one should get a 1 GB card to get decent storage space for songs, videos etc.

Overall this is an excellent phone offering good value for money. It has a good design, sturdy feel and offers good features. In CDMA segment this has to be one of the best in the market at present.
