Hi,
I have been using the Nokia 6230i for the last couple of months, Bought on the company name so that Its is expensed as a part of the salary, so thats the first advanyage. I can depreciate it in 3 years time and then the phone is mine for a nominal value.
Coming to the features, what I like the best :
FM radio - On the headphones, you have your private radio to yourself while traveling, I am big Radiocity 91.0 buff...carry forward from my days in mumbai.
Basic phone features are good, Good quality reception and enhancements for sound quality is available.
Quick links to access most commonly used features, nice background and smooth music when you switch it on and off.
PhoneBook is good, but it takes a few clicks to reach the contact that you would like to call, Need to try th Voice tags..
Its light in weight and good feel when you hold it.
Camera : I am not majorly inpressed by the camera, you can take decent pics in a well lit place..and them move them across via Infrared or Bluetooth.
Storage : I have taken an additional 64 KB card for storing and moving the card across to my laptop for transfer, works fine with it.
Regarding video - Same as the camera, not advised, but helps if there is no digital camera around.
Speaker phone : I have managed conference calls with my team using this, I am very happy about it.
Overall, Decent phone for the 14,820 I had to pay for it. I had wanted to write the feedback intially, but then I am not much of a cellphone guy...so thought I would wait for some usage time and let you know what I think....
Have fun...
