When I moved to Mumbai and migrated from Airtel to Reliance, I had very little to choose from, as far as the handsets were concerned. Most of the models they advertised were not available, and the best available was Nokia 6225. I regretted my choice soon after.

The handset cost me too much, the resolution of the camera was very poor, many features available in the GSM version were turned off by Reliance. Moreover, I couldn't transfer any photos that I took on my phone to a computer till date (have been using it for about 9 months now); the reason being the DKU5 cable (only data cable recommended by Nokia) was not compatible with Reliance's 6225! After 8 months, I was told to get a costlier cable because, according to the Reliance Webworld person, DKU5 was not supported anymore! There is no option to send or receive ringtones, compose ringtones, or do any other stuff. The only way to have a polyphonic ringtone was to upload it as a midi file (unable to do due to the data cable).

Emails cannot be sent or received as it was only for R-World customers, and Rworld is not meant to be given on 6225.

I would have fared well, with more cash in hand, if I had got an ordinary mobile phone with plain FM and a poorer resolution camera.
