I am living in a Metro, Sometimes I Travel by Public Transport, I go out with my family and frens on weekends and sticking my job on is a must'feel' everyday!
I hope, its the same for all of you.
How does you phone helps you on all this. VERY MUCH INDEED!
I was sick and tired of changing my cell phone, upgrading technologically world had me to settle on the smart phones that one must definitely have.
I wanted to go in N73, till date I like it very much. It was(and is) one phone thats the best for rough and tough use, yet it provides you all the platforms. But then, One must also asess - Do you use you phone to the fullest?
Yes, One Should! You phone helps you take it easy in a very comfortable way. To Start with - Lets think some applications that anyone would need on a phone on day to day basis:
Calendar -(if you dont use it, better start - it increases your capabilities to even remind others for things to do, helps to never forget).
Dictionary -(I know many people use it, but for those who do not - Try it once, you'll feel blessed).
Music - Helps you when you're on a move, alone, in long-working-hours and Definitely makes you livelier!
Camera - One thing, you need not worry carrying along separately, If you have the habit of using your Phones Camera to capture moments and nower days with community sites like Twitter, FB, Orkut etc. Its fun sharing experiences.
These were some of the basics that we use, like; "Just store it in your phone" or "Take it from your Phone Camera" or "Yeah I remember that Ad when we had no TV. Do you have it? Send it to me by Bluetooth". Normal Days, Normal Ocasions, Normal Stressbusters and very importantly can be done by every normal Nokia Phones nower days.
Nokia 6220c Benefit -
Calendar - Totally synchronizes with your PC/Laptop maintains your project deadlines, can be easily shared by many others.(Normally people never bother soo much about this, because we never would like anything to remind us about. Its with everyone. So if you dont use it - Its OK. But keep a track of your Aniversaries, Birthdays etc. Very Useful).
Dictionary - I used multi-tap for 4 yrs, Beieve me - Dictionary is better.
Music - Amazing output on Ear-plugs but not that great on Speaker output.( I never wanted it actually. some people take it as a great deal. If you love music - Then better listen it with ear-plugs / phones else get a CHINA PHONE)
Camera - 5 MP Camera. Its superb. Try catching a baby's smile or Moving objects or scenic locations, You will notice it yourself!
Other things for common use.
Edge - Internet Browsing is very comfortable and easy.( You may want to have your office mail box on your phone. But my personal opinion differs from this thought. Obviously it depends people to people and this phone also helps you with that, but I wouldn't review on that. I have used it, regretted it, neverwalking down that lane. Text me, Talk to me never expect me to work on my phone.)
Maps.
Radio.
Message Reader.
One application that I never understand at all.
- Barcode Reader!(What the Heck is it? And whats it doing in my Phone? If You know, Please do let Me Know)
Sleek Phone, with best upgradable features, best photographic experience(Apart from Pixion / I Phone / Standalone Cameras).
It does lack qwerty pad, which could have made this phone the best. I have also heard about a lot of people complaining about their Phone hanging.(6220c is no exception but then even blackberry and iphone can. so use your phone with proper data and to the capacity only).
Its also got many other application benefits, style benefits. But then This review is for a person who wants a phone with the features that are useable for day-to-day life.
The Phone looks unisex.(with phones have varied options from sturdy looks of grey, black etc to subtle feels like white, pink etc) . not much of a choice here.
And now I hear that this Phone is Out of Production list(In INDIA at least). But N97 is the same wine with different bottle. Do check that out.
I had got this phone for Rs. 13000. The moment I came to know, its the last peice, I grabbed it. And now N97 costs more than that!
I don't mind having the last laugh.
