My daughter purchased a Nokia 6.1 on 15th May 2018.


After 15 days use she had problems in charging, . She took it the authorised service centre. They said it was some cable issue will be set right within 2 hours. After two hours, they informed that there is some hardware problem in charging and since they do not have a the spare part immediately and it has to come from the company,


they will make the phone ready within a week. After a week when the service centre was contacted, they said they are yet to receive the spare part from the company and directed to contact the company to escalate the issue. When contacted the company informed that they will set it right within 48 hours. After 3 days the service centre said they are yet to get the spare part. The company never bothered to respond to the complaint, .


Despite of several phone calls/emails there is no respose from the company.


In the meanwhile, the service centre is demanding service charges when she requested them to return the phone if they are unable to service the phone. The phone is under warranty period.


The phone was purchased from amazon, Amazon customer care informs only if the service centre gives a letter denial of service they can take it with the seller,  When approached the sellter, the seller directs to amazon customer care.


Nokia refuses the refund the money or exchange faulty phone since it is serviceable. Neither they are supplying the spare parts.


We understand there are some defects for charging in the entire batch of phones and company which has brand image like Nokia refuses to rectify the issue.


Customer beware of buying Nokia 6.1
