I have been using the famous Nokia 6600 from the past five years and still it is going good. The same was my image when I went to purchase a touch screen handset from Nokia. I went to purchase HTC Viva but the saleman forced me to buy this handset on the pretext of quality and brand name.

I also got influenced due to my previous experience with the brand. That was the mistake I made single time. This handset actually has a touch screen and the shutter button to activate ot deactivate the screen is sliding type. This slides over a printed circuit which with the passage of time wears out and that is when the problem starts becoming severe.

Otherwise I also came across problem with the speakers which was fixed quickly by the Nokia Care. May be they were already prepared to handle these manufacturing flaws. My worst nightmare came when the handset started to have vertical black lines over the screen. As usual Nokia Care told me to format the memory card twice. But still the complaint continued.

After almost six months the screen got complete black and could't be seen .I fought a verbal battle with the Nokia dealer as well as with the Nokia service representative to get it exchanged after a wait of one month.

They told me that the handset has been replaced and a new one has been given to you from the company. But I got suspecious and told them that how the company can give an exchange without the carry box or atleast any receipt. But they toldme that in exchange units no paper work is done.

After next seven months the same problem occured again and this time I discovered that the handset replaced was a repaired one from another customer and it will not be repaired under the extended warranty .

Ultimately I have sell this handset to a local repair shop to get rid of the problem.

This was the last purchase I have ever done of a Nokia product and would suggest all those who do a purchase from their hard earned money to avoid the non reliable and cheap quality products from this company using the Chinese hardware.
