Recently I had a very BAD experience with Nokia cell phones.their recently launched'nokia express music' phone is doing everything but CONNECTING ME to PEOPLE!
The slider version of the phone(Model 5610) used to(Now it is USED TO!) hang so much. that I could never complete a call without having disruptions 2-3 times.
So after taking a a couple of leaves to get is fixed as apparantly their service centre(Nokia care) operates in timings such that it is really tough for any working person to visit them during those hours!
Anyway I thought my problems were over when yet again the cellphone had another problem- i could no more enjoy the'Express music' as the headphone had some problem. !
Once again a leave and a visit to the service centre.and they keep my headphones for a minimum period of 15 days! which I fail to understand why!
OK. so you might think that's the end of it. but the 'Almighty' phone had problems yet again. its display was not Displaying anything!
and the cherry on the cake was when I manage to reach the service centre panting after my work scraping through the traffic and reaching the service centre by 6.35 p.m(mind you just 5 minutes after their official closing time) i am told'Mam we can not take your request right now!'
That was all i could take!
I put my foot down and told them I was not leaving without getting my cell repaired! so finally they agreed to help but somehow they once again required my cell phone for 15 DAYS!
and they are not even giving me a replacement for these 15 days!
so well lets take a look. I had graduated to a better featured phone for the reason of - being able to do a bit more with my phone. and guess what . I am not even able to do what I used to with my earlier more basic phone!
Till now the phone has costed me-
Cost of the instrument- 11, 500
Cost of my leaves- 4000
Mental agony- well lemme juss'Tip' that
Endless sessions at the service centre!
I just have one question - is it worth it!
I used to believe in Nokia as a brand as it was all about'consumer friendly technology'
And I must say I am highly dissaponted as they have miserably failed in the high end phones segment and the one thing they used to stand for' consumer friendliness' is no more there.
I have completely lost my trust in the brand!
