My first touchscreen mobile. Review on Nokia 5233

It has been 5 months that I have been using this phone. Its A wonderful phone and much better than Samsung Corby. First I shall mention the pros and cons, then I will compare this phone and Samsung Corby.

Pros-:

1. Big screen makes watching videos and viewing pics a wonderful experience.

2.Best-in-class touchscreen and it also has an intelligent interface( SYMBIAN OS).

3.The homescreen has many hidden shortucts to access things which are often required. EG-: Clock, Alarms, Calendar, All the profiles, Bluetooth. And you can create 4 shortucts on the home screen and all your image contacts can be placed on the Contacts Bar (which is on the homescreen).

4.Its stylus is neatly embedded inside its back cover.

5.Awesome camera and video quality. It seems as its a very high megapixel camera but its not so its only 2 MP but very much different than any other normal 2 megapixel camera.

1. Voice recognition can be accesed by holding the call key for 2 to 3 seconds and its of good standard.

7.Once you get this phone you will love to type messages on its integrated qwerty keyboard .

8.There are many message typing options - the normal alphanumeric keypad , QWERTY keyboard (which can be accesed by simply tilting the phone towards the left) and the handwriting option which is very interesting)

9.Its bluetooth is like any other normal nokia phone but the recieved files don't go to anyrecieved files folder istead they go to your inbox.

Cons-

1.The radio- its very difficult to search various radio stations and save them.

2.There is only one game (Rollercoaster Revolution) its graphics are awesome but the game is a bit boring.

3.Its music playing and video playing sound is not as loud as Samsung Corby but I like that way only.

4.It has less features if there is no GPRS connection. Most of the features nedd an GPRS connection to operate.

5.It has OVI maps which are very bad , I installed an AIRTEL simcard which had GPRS in it but still the Maps did not work properly I don't know why?

Comparison between Corby and 5233 -

1.Corby's screen is much smaller than 5233's.

2.Its camera is worse than 5233's.

3.And its verrrrrrrrrrrry difficult to use

4.Its touchscreen is very inaccurate and it doesn't have a stylus.

1. But it has many good games and it has more features.

6.Its sound is louder than 5233 but is not much refined.

Go for this mobile it has much more value than its price.
