The place where I live there are very few Broadband service providers. So I do not have many options. I ckecked almost connection. But I was looking for a portable connection. when I read reviews for USB modem offered by "Reliance", "Tata Plug 2 Surf" and "Airtel Data Card". Only Airtel Data card was good as far as connectivity is concern, but the speed was slow. So I decided to take Internet over my phone. I was using Nokia 6101 with airtel connection. I activated Inter but was not able to use in the phone properly. So I had to buy one new phone for me. I got this Nokia 3500c for Rs. 5450.00. It was not a decision made in hurry but still I was not happy. For the first time I had a phone which I did not like muc. After using Sony K700i, Nokia 6101, 3230, Samsung X520, E250, I hade something which was not so good when you talk about looks. But Unfortunately no option because I had to buy it.
The thoght changed when I used it. If you exclude looks (few might like it) it has almost everything for me. Easy to operate with my all time favourite Nokia menu, the phone comes with a 256MB card which is enough for storing my data, The 2MP camera is good with zoom facility available and the picture quality is also good and most importantly Its really good when I use Internet on mobile as well as on my Laptop. Battrey backup is also good and it works for two days normally.
The only problem phone has is its sound when someone calls in. Its very poor. This might be a problem with me only because I have not checked with nokia (Might be some speaker issue).
Apart of these things phone is good and one can compromise with looks.
