Nokia 3350 does not have the latest technologies like Bluetooth, Infrared, GPRS, Color Display, Polyphonic ring. Its a basic phone, but a good one.
Nokia 3350 is built on the Nokia 3310 platform after the success of Nokia 3310. With its fading blue scheme, its stylish in its own way.
The keypad buttons are large, well placed complementing Nokia's usual good menu interface. The build quality of 3350 is very good. The phone has a picture editor (it will take lots of patience to edit a picture), lunar calendar (available only when language is changed to Chinese), 6 games (Snake II, Space Impact, Bumper, dance 2 music, Link5, magic draw), voice dial, hot keys, WAP 1.1 browser, SMS Chat, support Asian languages, animated and static screen savers, phone memory (upto 150 names independent of SIM card).
The 3350 measures 0.52 W/kg on Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) tests. Based on the recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), this is well below the limit of 2.0 W/kg.
In areas of poor network coverage, the 3350 failed to register any signal, particularly when the battery level was low. There is no major issue with Voice quality. A fully charged battery can last for 4 days of normal usage.
