Hmm..come to think of it, the 3310 is an old cellphone. but after using it for more than 3 years I still like it. Is it because of the cute shape or the ease of use of this instrument or the sheer reliability of the 3310. Well actually it is due to a mixture of all the above three functions. Coupled to it is the fact that it has been pretty well accepted in the Indian Market. It is truly a timeless classic that Nokia was forced to re-introduce after putting it off the shelves in India due to its popularity.
But yes, there are a few hiccups- the primary being battery back-up and the rather heavy nature of the phone. Also the back-light is not too bright.It just about manages passing grade.But then u cant have it all ,can you. Even with the hiccups it still is a very attractive package. Infact at one point of time Nokia withdrew the phone just because it was eating up the sales of its higher end models. Even then the prices of second hand 3310's rose quite high and there was a sellers market for 3310's.
Realising the tremendous sales potential of the 3310 it was re-introduced at a price of Rs 4000. It continues to sell good numbers in-spite of the fact that the 1100 a new modern sleeker model is available for the same price. In the end all I can say is that I love my 3310
