NOKIA 3250... Hmmm..... Review on Nokia 3250

Hi Folks,I am 21 years OLD.. I am a student.. I was using Moto Razr V3 since November 2005.. I was very much HAPPY with my phone but I was greatly dissatisfied with the battery backup.. Backup was around 20 hours only... no doubt I am a hardcore mobile user... Anyways... I decided to sell the RAZR and decided to buy some another good phone for myself... As others, I again moved my eye to some good, new Nokia phone in the market.. I have used 6 Nokia Phones in the past 3 years... I was very happy with all of them so I decided to OPT for a Nokia once again..I did a LOT of internet research, asked friends and keeping my budget in mind I bought NOKIA 3250 on 4.8.2006 from a Nokia Priority Dealer {nothing is better than satisfaction and complete peace of mind :-) }The first impressions of the phone in my hand left me with NO WORDS.. It was a BLACK SILVER phone... The finish and display were just mind blowing...But as it happens with MOST of the gadgets you come to know their true cons and pros only after using them for a certain period of time..My phone works fine for me... Sound is good.. Camera is good... Display is neat.. Keypad is handy... Twisting it is so fun..... mSD is fast... Phone works faster as compared to predecessors Symbian OS S60... The phone has LOCKED UP only twice since I bought it... However, there were 3 major issues I saw with the phone... Phone restarts if I do a "SPEED DIAL" (not always but once in 10 times)... Service command 123# doesn't support 3250... The command just don't work and I see error message "Request not completed"...which is annoying and I have to dial 123 to check my balance....Thirdly Slow SMS sending issue... SMS takes 30 secs to go and MOB is LOCKED during this period... Problem 1 & 2 still persisits... However I fixed the SMS problem by myself by downloading a Tweak SMS Script for N3250.. Now my messages go in less than 3 secs and no LOCKS UP!!!!!!!!!! he he...I am on software version 3.23 RM 18... I think that if I go for a firmware update my above 2 problem will be solved...But UNLUCKILY so far till 29.09.2006 NOKIA hasn't released any updated software version for N3250..Apart from the software issues.. The phone is slightly heavy and big... AKA difficult to carry...look like..another DCK in the pocket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U can't carry the phone if you are wearing too tight jeans.... Better AVOID it.... The rear battery cover of the phone gets fingerprint quickly... Keep the phone away from YOUR wife... OR else she would know....the number of GFs you got.....I would NOT strongly RECOMMEND anyone STRONGLY to buy this phone.. To me the phone is great... Some of the features are JUST MIND BLOWING but the phone is not VALUE for MONEY... I am planning to sell it... OR I would just gift it to someone in my family... Thanks for reading my review...
