On the face of it the 3230 looks imposing and inspiring with its looks. But within a short while of use one faces a nightmare of sorts. There is a serious problem with the embedded software, as a result of which the system within hangs. One has to then switch off the set and switch on the set. Initially I thought it was an one off problem, but then I noticed that it occurs often. I enquired around and talked to people with similar sets and they all complained of the software problem. Shame on Nokia for such a problem, especially when it has been dumped by a prestigious company. Next time I shall be careful buying a Nokia!
The other problem the phone has is the long time it takes to get started once it is switched off. It's as if waiting for eternity for the code requirement screen to light up. Not expected from a modern gizzmo!. More so when the set was so expensive to buy.
