I always liked a sophisticated phone which thou kept low profile should make people raise their eyebrows. That was why the first mobile I bought (in 2003) was the Nokia 8250. But soon within the next year I was in need of another phone cause it was the time to cahnge and I had no complain on the 8250. This time it was the time to change, a time so strange, a time I felt I was ain't no same. I had to go funky. At the same time I needed camera and a FM probably... Thus the hunt began. And one fine day I came up on the add for Nokia 3220. It was love at the first sight. I forgot about the radio. I had a camera and the lights were simply awesome!

I still remember, I entered my hostel gate rotating the pulsating alien-looking stuff in my hand and as I went cross the alley, every head turned towards me, and for those who were to proud to do so atleast had there eyes stuck in an odd position! It was the only one of its kind in the hostel filled with costliest and wackiest of the phones.

the next incident worth mentioning was when I was riding my bike down the busy flyover of South Extention. The phone rang and intuitively I shoved it inside my helmet over the ears. Too my horror, it slipped! It fell on the tank and then straight on the road. I closed my eyes in fear and pulled the bike in the corner, if I emember correctly the speed was well over 40kmph! I looked back few yards back, it layed all open by parts! The nearing vehicals screeched to a halt as I rushed blindly to the phone or whatever was left of it. I gathered the parts hastily. I realised it was just the facia that came out and the batteries. The battery pins were also bend. I shoved the battery inside and tried to switch it on! Unbelievingly, it switched on checked for the connection and with a sweet chime said I had a misscall! Misscall it was, from sure loss of another trusty friend and worthy device.
