Hi , I've been using this cutie for the past 8 months I would say this mobile initially was a bit difficult while handling with text bcoz, of a unique key pad.....But u get used to it.....
But actualy I went on a choosing spree bfore laying my hands on this mobile......
The following options made me select it....
A camera inbuilt phone
An FM inbuilt
Data transfer by IR(Infra Red)
WAP, GPRS
VOICE recorder ( for 1 min)
These options were missing or were much costlier when compared to other models or other varieties of phones available on the market...........
And itz a bit cheaper now than it was availbe to me when I bought it....I bought this for around 8842 rupees at Chennai Univercell.......It came with 2 years warranty and 1 year theft insurance.......
Now I think its availabe for around 7500 bucks.........
If u want digital photos plz lay ur hands on a digital camera dont expect much on camera integrated mobile phone as u wudnt be satisfied with the outcome......
The Image quality is just not good when u compare it with other models say........The photo options include portrait...standard and night mode......(all though night mode is not much of use)......
It also has a self timer for taking pictures.........image quality can be High, Normal or Basic.....As u wud know High wud be the best bet to take photos......it comes to around 15-20 KB per photo.........
The flash light feature is awesome, it had helped our family at times of distress, once our car got punctured around midnight on ECR Toll Road (a busy and famous tol road around Chennai connecting Pondicherry and other places) and we were in total darkness, our Emergency lantern went down, then I remembered my Nokia 3200 Flash Light (Press * key for 3 seconds), out came the light, it was powerful enough for our driver to do the job, and we reached home safely, It also helps me at home when there is power blackout in our area. I use that as a torch light. Its damn powerful
Best part is the Nokia PC SUITE 6.2.....which u have to download from https://nokia.com
The PC Suite gives u full control over ur mobile......if ur have IR connectivity with ur pc......then u can do wonders.........
you can transfer files from pc to mobile or vice versa
you can take a backup of ur phone
you can view the multimedia content of ur mobile in ur pc
you can manage SMS like u do in OUTLOOK EXPRESS(itz just amazing)
You can create ringtones (Advnaced polyphonic settings are also available)
Add contacts or edit them like flash.......(very useful for me)
You can also integrate an email application with ur mobile thro this pc suite...
You know I type huge SMS say around 500 characters in just a couple of seconds and out it goes to my friend list.........
You also have the option to segregate the contacts into groups........
So if u have this mobile along with nokia pc suite 6.2 connected via IR.....you play god.....
