I was left wanted, when my phone broke down about 6 years ago.I pondered, snapped and searched.While I finally located something worth durability and long-life.Nokia 2690 was the perfect gadget that wanted my attention.
With a easily accessible keypad, it has a storage system-which includes a memory card or micro SD card slot, a feature for a radio and a camera system which is not that sharp enough to assist you, still you can click snaps worth VGA standards for profile pictures in respectable social networking sites.The most efficient part about this phone is that it is very much long lasting.I dropped the phone almost 25 times over the years and I even accidentally poured water all over its circuit.
After a sudden blackout, it came back to life again, remained a bit fuzzy and lost its network.Still, I managed to fix the small glitches.After almost 6 years and 4 months of service, it lost all its juice and ran out.Though it didn't matter to me that it stopped working.What I will recommend all of you is, I am not that much of a phone buff.What I am, is a normal consumer like all of you, I will like to request you, that the age of these phones have long been dissolved.
So, if anyone of you people out there does possess the phone.Don't throw it away, because it will help you not only in a personal way, it will also help you in a professional way, if you dont need it give it to a dear one who desires a mobile.
At a price of about Rs.2100/-.Nokia 2690 has a headset problem, what it does is, when you plug in the headset.Sometimes it doesn't detect and this occurs from a very early stage.You have to make some adjustments and finally make it work.It also has a recorder with less clarity.When you record, you can also hear the outskirts, that can annoy anybody on a given day.Anyways, the phone is very sturdy, since it makes nice calls with perfect sound reception.
FINAL COMMENT:Nokia 2690 is a gold if you still possess it, but old if you have released it.
