I bought one Nokia Cell Phone Model 2505, RSN-RNK7447006AN from Maharaja Watch Co., P-708, Block - A, Lake Town, Kolkata - 700089 on 09.09.2008
Immediately, while charging I found that the battery was discharging within 24 Hrs. I waited for about 15 days to see if it would improve. When it did not improve, I visited Maharaj Watch Co, who told me to go to to the Nokia service agent Anand & Co, at Capital Electronics, Ultadanga. I went there 26.09.2008 but was told to come one week after Puja Holdiays.
Today, 18.10.2008, I visited them again. I was told that these sets have battery problems. They took my battery and told me to enquire after 15 days. They hope to get a replacement new battery by that time.
My question is that when they know that these sets have battery problems, why don't they have batteries in stock so that they are replaced immediately.
Why do we have to wait for 15 days? What do I do during these 15 days ? Do I twiddle our thumbs? Why don't the service agents supply back up battery until the replacements come.
I have important customers calling me from UK, France, Germany.
How do they contact me?
I am really shocked at the deterioration in service of Nokia.
Earlier, when the batteries in Nokia telephones were exploding, the company first gave us replacement batteries and then took back our old ones so that we did not suffer.
To say that I am disgusted, is an understatement.
Yours sincerely,
