For the mobile lovers, Nokia 2112 CDMA is yet another wonderful economical model launched by Nokia recently. This is purely meant for those of you who desire to go in for a Black & White Basic model of Nokia.
Nokia phones are always very reliable from the point of view of longevity and steadfastness of Batteries. Next to my review on Nokia 1108 which is one of the sleek & most compact models of Nokia and best liked by me, Nokia 2112 is another beautiful model and I like it a lot for its basic lovely features. According to me, the more basic model you go in for, the more problem-free you really are???!
Of late, the prices of Nokia & Samsung mobile phones have really slashed to very very lower levels. For instance, the Nokia 1100 which was introduced at a cost of INR 4200/- is at present only INR 2750/-, isn?t this just great ! Even many lately launched colour mobile phones of Nokia, LG & Samsung have been revised in terms of their pricing enabling even the middle-class community to choose among their wide-ranging handy models.
Nokia 2112 although was introduced at a price of INR 4900/-, surprisingly it is now sold at a much lower cost of INR 3500/-.Is it due to the high-ranging competitions in the market? But the consumers could be glad that Nokia despite its continuous launching of a number of models, still retains its quality and standard of products.
Features of Nokia 2112 :
?Nokia 2112, a CDMA mobile possesses an internal handsfree speaker and this handset is small and light-weighted (Jus? 83 gms).
?When compared with 1100 model which has very tiny keys, the keys in this model are fairly large and hence makes it easier to handle. This model has joint keys like the 1100 model.
?A highlight in this model is, this has the picture frame on the back over & as is being advertised by Nokia, you could be reminded of your dear sweet (salt ?????) heart wherever you go !!!
?The basic features like the SMS, Picture Messaging, Phone book memory, Chat features, Call Register, 16-chord polyphonic ringing tones, call divert facility, Preloaded games like Snake II, Kart Racing and Space Impact II, Calculator, Reminders, Clock etc., are all available in this model.
?The Nokia 2112 has a black and white display with a white backlight & another beautiful feature is that, this model also has an Integrated Flashlight.
?The last number redial facility is available and speed dialing upto 9 preset names with Keys 2-9 enabling quick dialing of important numbers.
?This model possesses the automatic redial facility upto a maximum of ten attempts.
?Call Durations and Call Timer are available.
?As in all the other basic models of Nokia, this also has the predictive text input for easier data entry and preloaded templates enables you to quickly send out messages.
?SMS distribution list enables you to send messages to multiple recipients.
?Voice Command helps quicker dialing to the desired person without the struggles of pressing keys
?The Memo recorder which has the potential of recording time upto 180 seconds acts as an electronic diary / notebook
?The Internal handsfree features enables you to make a Conference Call
?The performance of the battery in this model is pretty good ? It has a talktime of upto 3 ½ to 5 hours and a Standby Time of about 111 hours to 170 hours. Before going in for any of the Nokia handsets, these details could very well be obtained from the Dealer.
