Simply SUperb 1108. Review on Nokia 1108

The new Nokia 1108 !

Yup the same Nokia 1100 along with a handsfree and white backlight.

I purchased this phone on dec 28 04.

Really I was in a dilema for which to go for.

As I had choices like its rival 1100,the R220,2300.....

1100 was ruled out for its obvious reasons i.e its pathetic green backlight !

R220 was ruled out cause I had used that phone for 1 and a half year...really that phone was of good built quality and sound & network reception was excellent in that phone but I didnt want to buy that cause I was a bit bored with that..and now a days people keep changing handsets ever 3 months how can I keep that for more days ! ;-)

Now it was a pitched battle between 1108 and 2300.

Clearly 2300 comes out a winner in comparision to the features given along with the price tag.....but I squared to nokia 1108 for following reasons....

1.I was really falling short of 600 bux !

2.Nokia 1100 always appealed to me and the 1100 with white backlight renamed Nokia 1108....I just could not stop myself.

3.Battery standby for the set was excellent.

4.I have come to heard 2300 has a lot of bugs ! As viewed by the reviews here at MS.

Now bout the fone....

Paid 3700 bux...came home opened the pack ...slided in the SIM card and the battery slipped the back cover and switched on the fone ! NAD it made me go WoW.....!! what a phone...!

So light so gracious so cute....great !

This phone won my heart. But still then it had a few cons...

1.Only 2 games & Space Impact + is pathetic.

2.Phone covers get drity very easily.

3.No poly ringtones.

Same old features ! Great easy to use nokia menu....T9 dictionery is excellent. battery standy by is spell bounding. Network reception and voice clarity is SUPERB ! And yes 1 great feature it has is that we can store operator logos,ringtones in our Message inbox and also this phone has a memory to store upto 50 messages in inbox.
