I have given my Nokia 1100 for repair to Nokia Care in Tippasandra, Bangalore. I find the service personnel callous and absolutely unresponsive. They are supposed to be open till 6.30 /7 pm but take the phone off teh hook by 5.30 pm.
They have not given any response to my query regarding the estimate for repair or what is wrong with the handset. They promise to call back but never do. I tried the call center but that experience was also distasteful. Firstly, they didnt have any English-speaking service person. They could not give me any update and they were not willing to take the escalation. This means the customer is trapped and can take no action.
I think they are a shame to the good name of Nokia.
I have had the product for nearly 4 years and it has been working OK. Tho it is a basic model, it meets my requirements.
