A very late review for a 5 year old movie, the movie still deserves the applause however late it is. I guess this movie needs no introduction, if not its the Bosnian movie that won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, Lagaan was nominated for.
The complications that arise due to a mission rescuing a mixed group of men in the "No Man's land" inbetween Bosnian and Serbian lines is what the movie is all about. This is an unique warfront movie where you won't see gunshots, blood, women going Awwww!! and all kinds of sentimental and melodramatic scenes you see in any other war movie.
The characters looked genuine for the situation they were in (especially the man on the 'death bed'). Soundtrack is'nt that important for this kind of a movie, did'nt take much notice of it either.
Ofcourse, this is a highly recommended movie and a must watch.
