The hotel staff is bothered only about foreign customers and treat Indian Customers with disdain.
They apply different rules for foreigners and different for Indians. Possibly because they (Foreigners) stay longer and hence are more profitable for the hotel.Or maybe their behavior stems from deep rooted colonial mentality which indeed is typical of entire Goa. The hotel resorts to cheap gimmicks such as switching off power every night repeatedly.
The ACs are of such poor quality that they do not switch on back themselves after power is restored. This tactic keeps the occupants awake all night while the hotel saves a few bucks!! Once we had objected to this practice, that night power did not fail, otherwise it was the same story for balance four nights!!
We ascertained that this was a cheap gimmick because the power failure was not due to failure of main supply but was being switched off by the Hotel Staff! It is a unstarred hotel masquerading as a THREE STAR HOTEL!
