Initially I wanted to use the following title What's on my MIND, is on my BODY- the power to excel, with NIVEA Body care.. But it was too long.

Apt fragrance on the opposite sex has always acted as an old witch’s charm on me (I believe the same is applicable to my opposite sexual counterparts too, because what works for me, works for them That’s my theory!). Fragrance enthralls me and within moments I am under a spell. It triggers my imagination and makes me feel very light. A part of my brain gets switched on and no wonder I see light everywhere, once that happens. I feel I am on the top of the world and can topple everything that comes within my reach. I am certain even the hardest of the intoxicants would fail to trigger my passion in such a frenzied way.

It is but natural that given this kind of inclination, I tend to appreciate people- men or women, who take proper care to keep fresh and dress up beautifully and this includes, wearing the proper scent on them. Neat nails, hair and good smell are just a few of the points that I hunt in people, to judge them ( which @ times proves wrong).

However choosing and wearing the right smell is an art, which is not mastered by most men and women. Many do not understand that it is their attitude and persona that is meant to overpower a crowd, rather than an overdose of an expensive perfume. Many also do not take care to wear the right sex perfume. For instance, it really smells bad when a woman wears the men’s cologne or vice versa.

I do not like to spend much on toilet accessories but I do spend on the necessary items. Besides my regular shaving and shower kit, I like to choose the right deodorant. Gillette and the NIVEA brand deodorant are my favorite (I don’t use talc, but Z magnetism for men is one of my FAVs). Both are in fact ideal for men. In fact, NIVEA seems suitable for me. It comes in a 150ml spray pack, priced at Rs160. There are three variants. The one that I use is ‘fresh’. The smell is on the lighter side. I apply the same once in the morning and the fragrance lingers on till the day lasts. The sweet smell of the deo comes out in wafts and leaves a temptation. I could see the deos effect since the very first day I started using it. It was working like a magic.

Also since the Delhi summers are pretty warm, the tangy and the lemony flavour of the Nivea product suits me well. It is recommended that one changes his deo/perfume with every season. Because, what works well for one season does not necessarily works for the other. So for the summer in Delhi, the Nivea Fresh for men is ideal.

I don’t really need a deo, but it is like an accessory for me. It is an essential part of me, just like a watch, which when there, by its mere presence makes a huge difference.

Nivea Fresh deodorant is light on pocket and an absolutely ‘yes’ for those looking to make a silent impression. The deo just gels into your personality, it speaks volume of what you are made and reflects your reach, simply by making you smell good. I recommend, one should spray it at pulse points ( which includes under the arms, behind the ears, elbow and hair) for a longer effect. Also, since all deos last longer on oily skins, it wud be better to layer the same. This can be done by using the shower gel (gillete) or nivea. This helps in enhancing the length of the fragrance. Or better still, apply twice, if you want a longer performance.

I guess it is entirely a matter of personal preference when it comes to choosing the right smell. But it is important that we choose the right one, I know I have the chosen the right thing, because it is working well for me.

Think about it

It is always mentioned on all perfume bottles, ‘Keep away from sunlight’, I fail to understand, howcome after applying the same are we supposed to keep away from the sun. In that case does the perfume harm us once we go out in the sun, wearing it.

There are many people who have skin allergy associated with perfume. I wonder, whether spraying the same on their stuff (purse, bag, handkerchief) would help them. I bet it would.
