Just had a chance to visit this restaurant-"Nivanta". It is located next to "Bavdhan Chowpatty". From Chandni Chowk you take the Pirangut road and just on right hand side you have this garden restaurant.
The location is good. The place has very calm and serene atmosphere. You will love it on a chilled night. It has a garden restaurant well arranged and also have a unique feature i.e there small hut shaped dining places with traditional Indian baithak. The huts are quiet comfortable and cosy.
Only one thing that I found faulty was that-the huts have no jharokas or windows; so sometimes it becomes little uneasy; especially when people are smoking.
In food they have quiet a variety from chicken, mutton, fish and other veg delicacies. We ordered initially a soup and starter and yes they are upright in their service as well. Food was presented and served very well. The quantity is also good and the prices are decent. We had one paneer and one chicken dish. I liked the chicken dish as it was fresh, soft and succulent.
The panner dish was ok kind of as I didn't like the gravy much but paneer was real soft. One can also have drinks if they wish. Was astonished to find the waiters quiet decent and polite; they enquired about our liking of dishes and were well mannered.
You can enjoy there with group of friends or relatives and also if you wish to be in an isolated, relaxing and cosy place with your loved one.
