I was holding a Health Insurance plan from Niva Bupa sold through Standard Chartered Bank
I am totally disappointed with the handling of my policy
What has happened with me is a clear example of a hurriedly and misused policy
Banks and Insurance companies collide to sell insurance purely for their own profit and with the least care about the Insured.
One such plan of Niva Bupa(earlier Max Bupa) was sold to me by Standard Chartered Bank, with the banks representative making my husband(policy holder) hurriedly sign without my knowledge and signature.
They also set up an auto debit for 2 years premium payments.
Now when I made a genuine claim and honestly disclosed everything to the claims investigator, Niva Bupa has blatantly denied my claim, cancelled my Policy and accused me of not disclosing something from more than 20 years ago and which has no bearing on my claim.
We innocently buy health insurance through banks only because of their reputation but I learnt the hard way that it is only a dirty game of profiteering and meeting targets through collusion.
I demand my claim settlement and refund of my 2nd year premium amount for the period Jan2022 to Jan 2024
Standard Chartered Bank are you listening. You are supposed to be in my side and help resolve this.
