Hmmm Nissan may be leader world wide like its counterparts Toyota & Honda, but coming to Indian panorama its still sailing to take a break, ok lets take a look on Nissan Sunny diesel.
Nissan Sunny Diesel is a best premium sedan in its class in India, Available in 3 variants XL, XV & XV DCI Special edition, technically all 3 variants are identical except few cosmetic changes.
XL DCI comes with All 4 power windows, Auto A/C, Audio with 4 D speakers, tilt steering, remote locking, electric operated OSRVMS, Complete beige interiors, fully drive computer etc stuffs, log speaking Dual Airbags, ABS, EBD with BA common with all variants thats great thing, overall above awesome cabin space with remarkable rear leg room, comfortable head room, excellent bucket seats longest wheelbase in the segment, boot space of 500 ltrs is quite good.
XV comes with Nissan patented Push button start with I-Key, Alloy wheels, front fog lamps, Fine vision meters etc, Special edition comes with Multimedia system, leather interiors, etc, nice bifurcated all variants.
We should talk more about technical specs, I don't know whether Engine is Renaults or Nissan, whatever it may be Engine is nicely designed, 1500 cc with 86 PS @3750 RPM, 200 NM @ 2000 RPM, nice engine performance comfortably gives 15 kmpl to 16 kmpl in city with A/C & 17 kmpl to 18 kmpl in highways, nice pick up in city as well highways driving conditions, stability in highways is really awesome, i personally touched 150 kmph, really awesome, overall complete car in great experience.
Hyderabad prices, Sunny XL DCI @ 9.86 lacs on road, XV DCi @ 10.84 & XV DCi special edition 11.48 lacs, service cost is also cheapest I believe,
Cons....Looks slightly outdated, Brake performance is big problem but ok, Nissan calling back all the vehicles and changing master cylinder which is a nice move. Overall in best budget Nissan Sunny D is a best choice frnds,
Hyundai Verna has good looks, but rear seat comfort is worst & ground clearance & suspension is worst.
VW Vento Diesel good in outside looks & interiors but maintenance is too expensive, Skoda Rapid is not to be considered.
Overall Nissan Sunny Diesel is a great car.
