It's been 3 years I am using Nissan Micra which I picked up thinking of Japanese quality and innovation. The damn vehicle was good till the first service which was done after 6 months when the vehicle has hardly run 5000 kms.
The authorized dealer in Bangalore - Shawar Nissan can be rated as the worst dealer in the Automotive Industry. They offered free pick up and drop when the complaint was reported, told us that braking noise are generally reported during raining season and nothing to do with the vehicle quality.
The vehicle continued to have problem of brake noise from front n rear wheel even after the 2nd service. For almost a month, after the brake calibration was done they had requested us to get the vehicle on weekends to check the braking noise in the vehicle.
By they 3rd service, it was concluded that braking noise was due to change of material used for brake pads. Replaced the brake pads under warranty but still the problem continued. I managed to report this complaint to Nissan just before the warranty period of 2 years, an official from their design has come for inspection, he suggested to chamber the edges of brake pads and experiment on the vehicle.
Suggested us to take the vehicle on long drives and tough terrains before giving them the feedback. There was no improvement in the braking noise. In the fifth service, Shawar team neatly washed their hands from warranty and during their regular maintenance suggested us to replace all the 4 links each costing Rs 4, 000. Even then they were not ready to guarantee if the problem will be sorted.
Now I realize my mistake of choosing Nissan Micra. Would never recommend this company to anybody willing to have a peaceful drive.
They should change their tag like to "Cry every mile"
