Perused this book surprisingly amid my school days, in the nick of time before the exams, for which this was the proposed composition.
Nirmala, It was my first experience with a Hindi Novel and what a delight it was. The story, comprehensively in light of the life of an Indian town young lady viz., Nirmala, who is persuasively hitched to an elderly man very nearly her dad's age, because of the troublesome demise of her dad. Furthermore, a failure to pay for her settlement. The story continues with Nirmala buried in the family unit with the man, his three children and his widowed sister.
I exceptionally prescribe this incredible book to each one of those hoping to peruse a gem in Hindi. Sympathetic note that the dialect is extremely immaculate, now and then confused yet the plot is straightforward & straight forward, which compensates for the previous.
Exceptionally Sadistic, however consummate in clarifying life and its incongruities in nineteenth to twentieth century India. A decent read.
