I have always been savvy for the latest games and video games in the market. In earlier times when we had those 8-bit and 16-bit video games, I used to get a new one every year and every time a new model was released. I was a Mario and contra freak and a champ. Have played all possible video games in childhood. And the habit seems to continue.
My First experience with 'Wii' :
I got myself a Nintendo Wii about 6 months back and have been playing it like a small kid. I bought a cracked US version from Mumbai CST from a local dealer for Rs.13, 500/-. At this rate it’s definitely a steal. I enquired at various electronics stores and big dealers, but the price was very high, ranging from Rs. 16, 000/- to Rs. 20, 500/-. And to add to it, the local dealer was offering me a cracked version which could play pirated and normal CDs also. So that was the best deal I could get.
Motion Gaming Rockzzz:
The best and the most unique feature of Wii is motion gaming. You have to actually do actions to play the games; for example, if you have to hit the ball in tennis game, u actually have to swing your hand to play it. The game-set contains a gaming console, 1 Wii remote, 1 nun-chuck, 1 ac/dc adapter, 1 sensor, 1 audio-video connection wire and 1 CD. The CD I got with the game was Wii sports which had four games: Lawn Tennis, Golf, Boxing and Bowling).
I opened the box like a little kid and started playing the game right away. It was a little difficult to adjust in the start, I lost in tennis 5-0, but after 30 minutes of hard work (literally) I won a game. By the end of an hour, I was sweating, but playing the game was too addictive to give up so fast. I played for almost 4 hours till late night. The game experience is just awesome. It’s a never-like-before experience.
A Vast Collection Of Games Available:
The next day I got CDs of other games like Resident evil 4, Fifa 09, Ashes 09, Moto GP, Mortal Combat and many more from a local shop. And was playing all these games that whole day. Out of all these I like Resident evil the best and I continued playing it for a longer time. That game has a great playing experience, where I had to shoot mutants by pointing the remote on screen, and using the nun-chuck to move the player. Nun-chuck should be connected to the main remote and it has a joy-stick over it. I played that game for the next few days and finished it off within a week. Trust me guys, Wii is really very addictive. Next I started playing avatar, X-Men and many other games, while regularly playing Wii Sports.
Nice way to Keep Yourself 'Fit' :
Apart from playing games, there are many CDs available for exercises and aerobics training. It’s good option for people to get and stay fit. Wii supports DVDs, MicroSD memory card, USB support for loading and playing games. It also has Wi-Fi to connect to the net and update the Wii system and download games. You can see and edit your photos using Wii console. It also has a weather update and news update option. The motion sensor works very smoothly and effectively. You can always adjust the settings from the settings menu.
The 'Wii' Remote says ----->'Gimme Red':
The only thing you have to look after is that you have to change the remote batteries very often if you are a regular player. I had to change the batteries every 7-10 days. But apart from that, I have never ever faced any problem with Wii. I just play it whenever I am home. It might cause problems to people at your home (if you don’t have an extra TV set), because you won’t stop playing and they won’t get to see anything else on TV.
A must buy for people who love to play games and a must must must buy if you want to experience gaming in a very different and new way. You will enjoy it the most.
