The life of private detective Sudheer Kohli was never simpler. He always got in and caught by problems. But when he met Manjula, he found himself on the seventh sky. He felt the joy of thunder and rain. He never saw a girl like Manjula, which can be compared with fairies. In his life time, he met with many girls and had affair also but when Manjula came into his life; he was not expecting no one. Sudhir Kohli approached her for marriage and she accepted this proposal. But after some year they separated. The Reason is drastic, sordid, pitiful, merciful and hatred.
Today, after many years, Manjula was again in his arms but angle of death was pulling her last breath by counting. She was asking for Act of grace from Sudheer for her guiltiness. It was her last words when she was in arms of Sudheer.

She was stabbed by a knife and blood was flowing speedily from her back. At the same time Sudhir got a call from a girl Sonali who was the room-mate of Manjula. She was in problem. Sudhir called to his friend Malkani asked for the help and stated the whole incident happened. He found an ambassador car nearby his flat, in which the key was in ignition. He searched the car and found the name of owner of car from the documents.
He reached at the flat of Sonali but found a goon with the revolver in his hand. But Sudhir get control on him very soon and asked for the girl. He found girl in pitiful condition. Sonali stated that the same goon and his friend were in touch of Manjula in present days. Manjula told to Sonali that she was on biggest work of her life. Manjula left with these goons and not yet come.
Sudheer asked goon about his second partner. He stated that he and his partner with the company of Manjula robbed factory payroll money. After robbery Manjula left the both goon and fled away. They are searching her eagerly.
Sudheer went to give the news of death of Manjula to her elder sister Mridula but he founds her covered by a pistol by a goon named David. David was second partner in the robbery and he was searching of Manjula. But Sudheer got control on him very soon. He gave the news of death of Manjula to Mridula. The feelings and emotions flowed from her eyes continuously.
Sudheer called on his flat and found news that robbed money was found under his bed and police searching him. Sudheer reached on his flat and presented himself in front of Inspector Yadav. Inspector Yadav got faith on his statement that he had not murder his ex-wife. Sudheer called Sonali and asked about the friends of Manjula. Sonali stated that there are three friends of Manjula in present, a Photographer, a musician and a writer. Now Sudheer and Inspector Yadav together started the investigation of murder of Manjula.
Many of Questions aroused at this point. The curiosity to know the murderer is not much important in this novel. Important question is that why Sudhir Kohli got divorce from Manjula? What are the reasons behind that Sudhir Kohli living separately from Manjula? Why does Manjula murdered? For being taken part in robbery or there are any other reason. Is one among of her three friends might be a murderer.
After reading this novel you can know about the past of “Sudhir Kohli”. This novel is not only a murder mystery, it’s a emotional story of a person who loved his wife lot but something happen in his life which generate a reason to leave his wife permanently.
In this novel you can see the “Sudhir Kohli” as a romantic man who fell in love with a girl and married later. The past of girl is chasing every day. This novel is full of emotions. The adventure and thrill of novel mixed with emotion made this novel flawless and awesome. There are many factors in this novel which will touch your heart.
If you have not read this novel then find this novel which now came in category of rarest novel. If you have this novel then opens your bookshelf and start it reading again. The pace of this novel is slow but flow according to characters and events. The characters are limited and centralized to Sudhir Kohli and his past and present. This novel is totally different from the writings of Pathak Sir.
The 134th novel of Sh. Surender Mohan Pathak sir presented fourth novel in the series of Philosopher Detective Sudhir Kohli who was well known for his philosophical quotes and nature. Pathak Sir presented him as delhities and totally delhities.
We can very well understand the nature of Sudhir Kohli from this novel and it is the landmark of popularity of Sudhir novels. I enjoyed this novel very much and you can enjoy also as there are all spices present which can give you best and better entertainment.

It is an exceptional work of Sh. Surender Mohan Pathak Sir after Vimal Series where he presented the past life of central character of novel. Nearly twenty novels were written under the series of Sudheer Kohli, The Philosopher Detective who think himself as “The Lucky Bastard”. The other 19 novels will show the nature and behavior of Delhi where peoples are always behind of land and law but Sudheer Kohli is always follow the money and beauty. Pathak represented the best of life by using the character Sudheer Kohli to us, especially for metro cities people. Sudheer Kohli always makes you laugh on his philosophy and his acts are hilarious. But this novel not left the real imprints of Sudheer Kohli, as seen in other 19 novels.
You can see the emotion and full of emotional drama. But sometimes the characters needed emotion also. As Pathak sir always writes nearby truth and realty so why these ornaments of life was very useful for such novel.
As subject of this novel is sensitive and it makes you curious to read it.
