According to Indian Medical Council it is the second top medical college in our state. Dr. Nilratan Sircar is the founder of this college. The courses offered here are MBBS , MD, and MS. At undergraduate level, 250 students get admission every year in this college. BSc nursing training also given there. There are 3 hostels. One for boys, one for girls another for nursing students.
Every subjects according to IMC are taught here. Specially the faculties of anatomy, physiology , surgery department are no doubt very much student caring. As a hospital also it is no doubt excellent. Emergency is opened for 24 hours. A huge campus is very comfortable for patients and their families. The neurology department is well decorated like a nursing home. Here doctors, junior doctors, nursing stuffs amd other non medical stuffs are always ready to surve patients .
