I requested two birthday cakes for my child's birthday at the Nilgiris Store in Sahakaranagar, Bangalore . Went to the store to submit a request on Saturday, 25th Feb. The store Manager acknowledged to bring the request with incredible reluctance(i dont know why). I needed the cake to be conveyed on Monday, 27th Feb at 9.30 a.m, which was guaranteed by the store. On Monday, we went to gather the cakeat 9.30 a.m. just to find that it was yet to arrive. The store Manager was absent. We were informed that he comes just by 12 twelve. One clever character in the store began mishandling the Nilgiris production line and poured his outrage on them, without giving us an answer. 30 minutes cruised by, we didn't get an answer other than "it is headed Sir'. At last, the cakes touched base at 10.40. Presently unfurls the genuine story. We opened the principal cake(chocolate) at my child's school. Shockingly, the cake appeared to be made no less than 2 months prior. it was hard and weak, with some new cream hung on it. We needed to circulate it at the school to spare ourselves from the humiliation. We needed to cut the other one(Vanilla) at home within the sight of a couple of close relatives and companions. Shockingly, this cake too was similarly awful and weak. I think Nilgiris is on a stock clearing binge and purging all their unused new year cakes! Be careful companions, don't arrange their cakes. I think others like Sweet Chariot and Just Bake are greatly improved with their quality as well as with their administration and guarantee. On a day which was intended to be happy, I made myself a Grand Villan at home since I was the one to demand purchasing cakes just from Nilgiris. I will never rehash this error all my life. Lesson of this story-'Enormous brand names require not really mean quality'. PS-I went to the store tonight to give an input. In spite of the fact that the store chief was available in the storm cellar zone, he didn't try to come over and take my input. I'd preferably oppose from praising my kids' birthday than requesting this left finished stuff!
