I have been to various outlets of Nilgiri's in chennai multiple times and have come out with same sort of dissatisfaction almost everytime. To name a few, I have been to Sholinganallur outlet, PTC outlet, Thoraipakkam outlet and Ayyapanthangal outlet.
Each and every Nilgiri's store is built in a similar approach.
The ambience and decor doesn't really impress.
The AC's are off at times.
The staff members are not available most of the times or else they are busy arranging stuffs on the shelves.
The presentation of items is very poor. You need to search for anything very deep.
Poorly organized, I must say.
The price is not the best when commpared to other players in the market like'More', 'Reliance Fresh' or'Spencer'.
The obvious reason of visiting the store umpteen number of times is the fact that there wasn't any other alternative in and around the place I used to stay. Nilgiri's was just next to my residence. Else, not a great supermarket to shop at.
